About the Owner and Founder
Angie Cortizo is dedicated to helping others become organized and successful in whatever their endeavors. She is trained in architectural studies and urban planning and design*. From a young age she has had a singular ability for visualizing and planning spaces and projects. In 2013, with a good eye for design and aesthetics, advanced spatial skills, and and a knack for going from big-picture to the nitty gritty details she was inspired to start her own Professional Organizing business, Organized ASAP.
It is her passion for organizing that brought her to the virtual assistance and administrative world.
She is currently focused on providing virtual office management, administrative assistance, and consulting services to up-and-coming Direct Primary Care (DPC), and concierge-styled medical practices.
Angie became interested in the DPC model in 2017, when, as a patient, she was looking for better options for her healthcare. She was frustrated with traditional insurance companies and joined a Health Sharing ministry for her medical needs. It is through that ministry that she first heard about DPC. She contacted her local DPC doctor and after hearing what it was all about she signed up right away. Later on she found out she was that doctor's first patient!
She has believed in the DPC model ever since and therefore went from DPC patient, to DPC advocate, to her DPC doctor's virtual assistant in 2020, and finally to the birth of My DPC VA, a DPC virtual assistance agency in 2023.
Her familiarity and passion for DPC set her and her team apart from other virtual assistance services.
Angie is passionate about patient disclosure, transparency, and education. She is resourceful and well-versed in medical cost-sharing, health sharing ministries, as well as regular insurance (to a certain extent, no Prior Auths please!).
